20 Foot Shipping Containers in Bundaberg
The answer to most Bundaberg storage questions. A household packed out while the floors are redone, a trade business's stock and tools, a season of irrigation fittings — and it rides on a tilt-tray, which suits most driveways in town.
Good for
- The contents of a three-bedroom house during a renovation or rebuild
- A trade business's stock, tools and materials
- Fertiliser bags, drip tape and irrigation fittings on a small-crop block
- Hire jobs with an end date — from $27 a week
Think again if
- Bulk packaging or pallets in volume — a 40ft costs little more
- Fuel, spray chemical or oils — those need a dangerous goods unit

20ft questions
How much is a 20ft container in Bundaberg?
From $2,200 for a cargo-worthy used unit and $3,300 for new single-trip, ex GST, as a guide. Hire starts from $27 a week. Cartage is added for your address and access; call 07 4152 3388 and you get one figure for the lot.
Is the 20ft watertight?
New single-trip and cargo-worthy used units are wind and watertight, checked before they go out. As-is units are not sold watertight. Watertight here means rain from above; water rising around a container gets in at the door seals.
Can I see photos of the unit first?
Yes. Ask and we send photos of the container you're getting, serial number in shot, before it's delivered. You can also arrange to look at it in person.
When can it be delivered?
That depends on the stock on hand, the truck's run, and — out on farms or the coast — whether the ground is firm after rain. Ring us with the address and we'll say what's possible, then confirm the booking in writing.
Where should it sit if the river floods?
As high on the block as the truck can reach, on blocks or sleepers so the door sills are clear. A container will not keep floodwater out, and an empty one can float. Leaving a way in for a truck means it can be lifted to higher ground before a rise.
