Dangerous Goods Shipping Containers
For the drums and cans that shouldn't share a shed with anything else: farm spray chemical, workshop solvents, two-stroke and marine fuel. Ventilated walls, a bunded floor that holds a spill, and built to the standard an auditor checks against.
- Vent panels and a bunded floor for spill containment
- 8ft up to 20ft high cube, with side-opening versions
- Suits farm chemical, solvents, oils and marine fuel
- Tell us the DG class and quantity and we match the unit to it
As-is grade: As-is units are sold as seen and are not sold watertight — watertight applies to the cargo-worthy and new single-trip grades only.
Why we keep them on the books
Chemical storage is everyday business in this district. Growers through the Isis and out past Bucca keep drums of spray in a corner of the machinery shed, workshops in Bundaberg East and Svensson Heights run solvents and oils, and boats at Burnett Heads and Urangan need somewhere for fuel. A purpose-built DG store is the tidy answer to all three, so we carry them rather than treating them as a special order.
Settle the class before the size. Units are set up for what is stored and how much of it, and a store that doesn't match its contents is a finding at the next inspection. The farm side is covered in container storage on a cane, macadamia or small-crop block; otherwise ring and read us the labels.
