40 Foot Shipping Containers in Bundaberg
Bought by volume, not by the box. Cane growers storing spares and harvester parts, macadamia farms holding cartons and bins out of season, and any business stocking pallets — a 40ft gives twice the floor of a 20ft for a small step up in price.
Good for
- Harvester and tractor spares, belts, tyres and tools on a cane farm
- Cartons, bins and packaging outside the macadamia or citrus season
- Pallets of business stock
- One long unit instead of two 20fts side by side
Think again if
- Small house blocks — a sidelifter needs around 30 metres of working room
- Ground that stays soft for days after rain, unless you can wait for it to firm up

Figures are guide prices, ex GST, for the container only. Cartage is added once we know the address and the access, and stock changes as units come and go — 07 4152 3388 gets you the current figure for your job.
As-is grade: As-is units are sold as seen and are not sold watertight — watertight applies to the cargo-worthy and new single-trip grades only.

Forties come off a sidelifter, which sets its legs beside the truck and lifts the unit across. Allow about 30 metres of working room and ground that will carry the legs: on red soil or a cane headland after a storm, that is the part to plan for. Guide prices, ex GST.
40ft questions
How much is a 40ft container in Bundaberg?
From $2,600 for a cargo-worthy used unit and $5,500 for new single-trip, ex GST, as a guide. Cartage is added for your address and access; call 07 4152 3388 and you get one figure for the lot.
Is the 40ft watertight?
New single-trip and cargo-worthy used units are wind and watertight, checked before they go out. As-is units are not sold watertight. Watertight here means rain from above; water rising around a container gets in at the door seals.
Can I see photos of the unit first?
Yes. Ask and we send photos of the container you're getting, serial number in shot, before it's delivered. You can also arrange to look at it in person.
When can it be delivered?
That depends on the stock on hand, the truck's run, and — out on farms or the coast — whether the ground is firm after rain. Ring us with the address and we'll say what's possible, then confirm the booking in writing.
Where should it sit if the river floods?
As high on the block as the truck can reach, on blocks or sleepers so the door sills are clear. A container will not keep floodwater out, and an empty one can float. Leaving a way in for a truck means it can be lifted to higher ground before a rise.
